The Mexican Textile Craft has been threatened with its disappearance due to a host of circumstances that have led different artisans to stop with the work that is a heritage of knowledge and is totally valuable for the country’s culture.
Conexión seeks the preservation of artisan techniques through the fusion of design and current trends in collaboration between artisans and designers, in order to maintain the identity and history of traditional Mexican textiles in Mexican fashion by design and brand development, in addition, creating a fashion collection inspired by the connection with oneself that is the essence of life, searching within each one allows us to explore and understand the life that surrounds us, connect with the essence of the nature of our roots, to find calm and value to the vital energy of our spirituality.
By working on this project with the Artisan Marino Armas Nieves, it is possible to meet the objectives established to promote collaboration between Artisans and Designers, in which the value of the artisanal textile techniques carried out are included and respected, where through the creation of the campaign, it develops the concept and spreads the values of the inspirational message of the collection.
