Machismo in Mexico is one gender violence behavior so common in the country that it has become imperceptible in daily interaction, the implication of hegemonic masculinity in the national idiosyncrasy has led to aggression by those non-normative orientations and masculinities.
     Hombrecito is a fashion collection inspired by the experiences related to the machismo of the gay community in Mexico, to generate a business model that promotes positive remuneration to society, allowing the creation of spaces for reflection where the community can be a participant to talk about the problems that happen to them and later expose them in a creative way in textile pieces.
     It was opted to generate artistic-textile garments that innovate in the use of a technique of own authorship for the creation of textile portraits made out of translucent fabrics, in addition to the use of a modular fashion technique and various materials that together generate textures and silhouettes which invite the viewer to be interested in the piece and its concept, in addition, the garments make up an exhibition space where reflections by the participants are creatively combined.
